Prosecutor Emir Neradin proposed to the Court of BiH to ban Stanarevic, who was arrested nearly two months ago, from contacting other suspects and witnesses and crossing the border.

He did not object to allowing the suspect, who lives in the Prijedor area, to leave his house in order to earn money for his family.

Stanarevic is suspected of having participated, along with other members of the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, in taking away of captured Bosniaks from the Public Safety Station yard in Ripac and murders at Hrgar locality in June 1992.

“Bodies of victims were transferred to Bezdana natural pit, where the remains of 83 persons were found during an exhumation in 1997,” the Prosecution of BiH announced.

Prosecutor Neradin said that the investigation was close to an end and that an indictment for these crimes would be filed soon. He said that some of the suspects were not available to the Prosecution of BiH
